PrepWise keeps three things: what is in your pantry, your recipes, and any food allergies you record along with how severe each one is. No name, no account, no contact details, no location — it never asks, so it never has them.

Theme

Follow system matches your device’s appearance setting and changes with it — including automatically at sunset, if your device does that.

Text size

This multiplies whatever text size your browser or device is already set to, so it stacks with your system accessibility settings rather than overriding them.

✨ Share with an AI Assistant

Produces a plain-English Markdown summary of your pantry, recipes, and shopping needs — formatted so an AI assistant can suggest meals from what you already have, work out substitutions, or plan a shop. Expiration dates are recalculated at the moment you export, so nothing is stale.

Where it goes is your call. Nothing is sent anywhere by PrepWise; you copy or download the summary and decide who sees it. Whatever you paste into an AI assistant goes to that provider. Two things are left out even then:

    Restore data from a previously exported backup file. You'll be able to preview the contents and choose whether to merge with existing data or replace everything.

    Note: After selecting a file, you'll see a preview and can choose to merge imported data with your existing data or replace all data. You'll be asked to confirm before any changes are made.

    Download your data as JSON files to backup, share, or transfer to another device. Click any button below to instantly download the selected data.

    View your current data statistics and last backup date. Once you have a pantry worth protecting, a reminder appears at the top of this page if it's been more than 30 days since your last backup.

    🌱 Try Sample Data

    Fill the app with a small demo kitchen — a stocked pantry, three recipes (two of them missing an ingredient), an expired item and a few step timers — so you can see how everything behaves before entering your own.
